Interested in learning how to share content on clraik? This guide is for you!

    Sharing Images

    1. Capture your image.

You may need to screenshot a NeoBoard post or save a funny meme. Before you can share it with us, you need to capture it.

🔴 If the image you want to share is already hosted somewhere (like images.neopets.com), you can skip to Step 3.

    To screenshot:

    • All computers: Press the [PrntScrn] key, then open up an image editor to paste the image and crop your selection.

    • Windows computers: Hit the [Start] button on your keyboard, type in "Snip," and open the Snipping Tool to make your selection.

    • Mac computers: [Command] + [Shift] + 4 will bring up a selection box so you can specify an area to select, then saves it as a file to your desktop.

    • Phones: Press and hold the [Power] key + either [Volume Up or Down] or [Home] button. The exact button configuration will depend upon your phone model.

    2. Upload your image.

Upload your image to an image hosting site like (you need an account to see links) or (you need an account to see links).

    3. Copy the URL of the image.

The link for the image is the one that ends in .gif, .png, .jpeg, etc.

If you're using Imgur, you can copy the "Direct Link" text... or the "BBCode" string if you don't want to manually type your [img][/img] tags.

    4. Embed the image in a clraik post.

To use the image in a clraik post, take the link you received in Step 3 and put it between img tags, like this:

    Code:
    [img]https://images.neopets.com/template_images/aisha_defender.gif[/img]
When you submit your post, your image will show up!

    Sharing Videos

    1. Copy the URL of the video.

If you are uploading your own video externally to share on clraik, follow Step 2 in the "Sharing Images" section before posting.

🔴 The video tag parser supports YouTube, Vimeo, and Facebook videos.

    2. Embed the video in a clraik post.

To use the video in a clraik post, take the link you received in Step 1 and put it between video tags, like this:

    Code:
    [video]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rd69JL2BySU[/video]
Note that if you use the Preview functionality before posting, the video will not show up, but it will be there when you submit the post.

[Optional] Embed Youtube videos at a certain timecode

Youtube has the ability to generate a link for a specific time in the video; ex. 30 seconds into a 5-minute music video.

To get this link, open the video and skip to the time that you want, right click, and choose "Copy video URL at current time."

Pasting that link between video tags will result in an embed that begins at the timecode you specified, instead of the beginning of the video.

    Code:
    [video]https://youtu.be/rd69JL2BySU?t=7[/video]

    Sharing Instagram Posts

    1. Copy the URL of the Instagram post.

On the Instagram post, tap the three dots menu in the top right, then tap "Copy Link."

    2. Grab the post ID.

In the link you copied in Step 1, the post ID is the part that contains a string of numbers and letters, like so. Take note of this ID!

    3. Embed the Instagram post in a clraik post.

To embed the Instagram post in a clraik post, take that post ID you received in Step 2 and put it between igm tags, like this:

    Code:
    [igm]CfrWt9QOow0[/igm]
