I don't know much about Yoasobi (I think they're popular for some anime OP or something?) aside from the fact they blew up with this song and it's so good... apparently based off of a short story that I would love to read one day but I feel like it might make me cry. <_<

Slightly slower version she recorded that I honestly think I like better because it gives you more time to absorb the emotion in her voice... brb gonna go stand under the showerhead now to hide my tears

Right?? There's something about the way that animated mvs for japanese songs (like, the entirety of the vocaloid library of popular songs lmao) hit different... like I feel like I don't get emotional that often but watching them nearly ALWAYS makes me choked up in some way jskaljfdklas

(also I'm not on the hololive train but the first video you shared of Calliope (?) was really cool!)

Someone please tell me they always went through a huge The Pretty Reckless phase?? I was always so mind blown that Taylor Momsen is only a year older than me and was making this music that I was obsessed with. That album was my life in grade 11 when it came out!
