I've been wondering, is there a trend for which of the three side usually wins?
If chosen randomly, I have a 1/3 chance to win. That's low considering I only have an attempt every few weeks.

There's an obelisk war guild who advertises on the BD boards. They've got 300+ people who usually all battle at the same time and they pick the teams based on who needs what avatars and after that, they pick based on boons.
When i used to do them, I'd just go with the general consensus on what the boards was. It worked out eventually

Most of the boards hide who they are going for now, it's annoying
Join the Official Obelisk Skirmish Guild (you need an invite), they usually win most of the times. You can easily find them advertising the guild on Battledome board.
Usually I pick based on the board majority but also look at the boons. The best boons usually win.
