So my other half and I decided to celebrate Valentines Day this coming weekend, since we both had to work the majority of the day. However I faked being sick today and even called in sick to get the day off.
I just spent the WHOLE day deep cleaning the entire house... every damn corner of the house. Although we were not gonna spend money on gifts and instead spend it for our day date this weekend, I went out to get a single rose, and a large heart box of chocolates.
She isnt really a fan of chocolate, but she loves baklava perhaps more than she does me. So I also went to this little turkish type bakery that happens to make their own. And bought enough to replace all the chocolate servings with these sticky pieces of dough and nuts.
And now im sitting here all anxious with her box of "chocolates" and this rose. Waiting for her to get home... So I thought I would share my day thus far with everyone.
