I'm trying to decide whether it's something I'd ever wanna play again, so where's neo at atm? In terms of user base, user support, ucs, freezings etc. Anything worthwhile happen?

the economy is all over the place thanks to CC. it's gonna take a while before it stabilizes again, might wanna hold on to your r90 + items.

besides that, i guess JS is finally picking up? accounts are being unfrozen as of late, so i've seen and there's a new bd event coming.

and it's easier to get draiks & krawks still. UCs, and rw/rn are still all the rage as usual!

I hear lots of mixed opinions on how the site is going right now. As long as you're careful and lay low, you should be fine. Same as usual in that regard. They have the charity corner going now and "supposedly" something with the BD soon... so we shall see.

TNT did a password change. A lot of shells were now inaccessible and for the UCs I think too.
TNT is still freezing people. Recently like around 8-10+ users got frozen.
They did another CC again.

They have been mostly added new avatars (stamps) and recently the Charity Corner a lot of people participated in.

I see you have downloaded on here before. Well, Stealth Core has gone through a lot of changes... basically the best bot for Neopets that has ever existed.

Truthfully, I'd say stay away if you've been away. Coming back will only use up more of your free time that you could be doing something better with rather than holding on to a dying/reviving pet site. With that being said, there have been some decent improvements.

Pros: Charity Corner just ended, they've released 3-5 new avatars (mostly stamp based), a lot of bigger users are being frozen (they look illegit and too comfortable to me), they've hinted multiple times at a BD event coming soon as well as BD updates. They've also released some new over-powered weapons and actually listened to players feedback and nerfed them after they were released. I feel like there are more active users than say 1-2 years ago, but there isn't really a way to tell.

Cons: Tickets still take forever (if ever) to get a reply. Captchas on every look up and petpage basically killed looking at people's pets and look ups. Random spikes of lag pretty frequently. PC is as report happy as ever. I think I see someone post everyday on the boards that an item disappeared on them while using the BD/Trades.

Overall, I'd say they are updating the site more often than previous years. If you don't have much attachment, I wouldn't bother coming back. Once you start you'll be playing everyday again, or at least that's what happened to me. It might be exciting to keep lurking though and see what the future holds. At least they are trying to improve things.

I still like it, but I lay low and hardly post on the forums so I wouldn't know if there a report happy users.
NeoPets still makes me happy, too many good memories!
