What's the difference between over-heal items and regular heal items?

Do I have this right? As an example, let's say I have a pet that has 40/50 HP remaining. On the next turn my enemy hit's me for 20 damage (should go down to 20hp to 20/50hp).

    Option 1:
-I use Rainbow SS (80hp over-heal). This should disregard any damage done and next turn I will be 50/50 HP?

    Option 2:
-I use greater healing scroll (50HP no over-heal). Next turn, my pet starts with 30/50hp?

    Option 3:
-I use leaded elemental vial full-heal. My pet starts with 30/50hp again?

Am I right in all 3 of those scenario's? Are only the scorch stones over-heal or are there other items too?

So if you had 40/50, and you heal with a GHS (50 hp no overheal), you should be at 30/50. It heals you 50 hp (no overheal), and then the damage hits you for 20.

Where as with a Rainbow SS, you would go from 40/50 to 120/50 for one turn, so 20 damage wouldn't do anything but bring you to 100/50 (then resets to 50/50).

LEV is the same as GHS.

None, because overhealers don't work anymore
(They instead act like normal healers)

    Edit:
(you need an account to see links)
There is no functional difference between regular healers and overhealers

Not sure if they have fixed it tbh
But it surely didn't work for me during beta and shortly after it (late 2014)
