After some grumbling, we’ve decided to remove that much-talked-about burrito from the Fresh Foods Shop rather than trying to cover it up with what our friends’ across the pond might see as just… ‘Another Brick in the Wall.’



But don’t let these daft musical references detract from the fact that TNT will continue to keep Neopia a politics-free zone and that we would never use site content to knowingly target any particular group or individual. Sorry for any confusion this might have caused!

Aw man, the item itself was ugly of course (and also offensive some could say) but it was hilarious that TNT created something related to contemporary politics, it felt like the humor was maturing or something and honestly most people who play Neopets are smart enough to get the joke. Covering up the original meaning with some cheap rock lyrics excuse is not really going to be bought by anyone but oh well. RIP burrito on the wall :/

It seems that it is stuck where people have been storing them. Someone on the Newbies board said they couldn't remove it from their gallery. I wonder if this means it'll poof and disappear or turn into something else. You can no longer search it on the wiz or TP.
