    spoiler shortcut

Why can I only use the shortcut for spoiler when creating a new thread and not when I am commenting on an already created thread? Being that If I write
    [Spoil.er] [/ spo.iler] works anyway ...
It would be really cool and practical if always have this shortcut.

Because if you are replying then the option is "post quick reply" which has less options. If you choose the option Go Advanced then all of the "shortcut" buttons appear.
