We just do cards for each other as we're all getting pretty old, but we have this yearly thing where we get pajama's on Xmas eve, so I'm getting my mom some Eyeore pj's since she likes that character from Winnie the Pooh.
Shopping for other people is one of my favourite parts of Christmas. What are you buying for other people on your list?
The only person I really have to buy for is my mom, so it's pretty simple.
For her stocking, I bought:
An iPhone car mount for her Mercedes, a Terry's Chocolate Orange (stocking tradition), socks, a nice scarf, a knife set, a mini Himalayan salt lamp, mascara, some hair butter, and a little gift package from The Body Shop with shea butter products.
I also have to get her some oil for one of those diffuser things. My brother bought the diffuser.
I may also get my step dad something, but I'm unsure of what to grab him at this point.

Nothing, I've got no money on my name, and we don't do presents anyways, with exception for my baby sister, but this year we're all very tight on money so even she's not getting much.
Money is too tight. So pj pants, chocolate/fudge, small simple decor. And junk food. Our tradition is lots of cheap snacks like licorice, gummies, chips and candy. We seem to enjoy that more than the "gifts".
Got the madre a michael kors bag. They grew up with nothing and gave me everything and even tho she's schizo, i'd thought id be nice.
in the end no one ever knew what the outcome would be. So I guess… you have to do your best to make a decision that you won’t regret.
I'm not a traditional Xmas type. I made my friend a pop vinyl version of herself and bought a male friend who is in a 5 year drought some NSFW toys.
I get my dad a nice coffee table book every year(Last year was every front page of the NYTs since the paper began, year before was a book about firefighters) and he spends the entire day reading it usually. I get my mom a little thing off Etsy and a practical book about cooking or gardening that she can use for her day to day life. We don't do much because frankly, we already have everything we need.![]()
We have always bought presents for everyone in my family and it's getting a bit complicated as we all grow older... So we've decided this year will be the last time we do this and starting next year we'll be doing a gift exchange. It will be easier and more affordable that way.
But for this Christmas, I bought a nice pyjama and some slippers for my mom since that's what she asked for. I got my dad an official NFL shirt since he loves those. I got my sister a few books along with a 2017 planner and I bought a bottle of Scotch for my brother. As for my boyfriend, I ended up buying him a few comic books since he absolutely loves those, along with a PS4 game, white chocolate and black tea.
I got my mom a package of four essential oils (cinnamon, rose, some natural scent, and some green plant one lol) for $40.. So expensive
