That's hilarious and also kinda cute, let them lick the cars, they just love the salty taste those marvelous creatures. Are they aggressive at all? I've never seen one in real life. Here the closest thing we have are pumas alert but only if you live near the mountains.
They are docile for the most part unless babies are around. But they can easily fuck you up by stomping and goring you to death. We have pumas, we call them cougars or mountain lions though. They eat the moose.
Licking of vehicles is neat and scary though. Other animals do it too. Deer, bighorn sheep.
Here where we live the biggest fauna impediment we have is deer. Deer and the occasional bear, and wolves if you live way off on the countryside. But mostly deer, who don't care about humans, and hang around the suburbs as much as teenage kids do. Bears are more scared of civilization, although there has been some issues with bears recently, like this teenage black bear who was found hanging out on a local college campus, and got itself stuck on a tree, or my chemistry teacher's story about her time while driving late at night through one of the local parks, and on the bend of the curve, there was an adult grizzly just standing there, and she had to back up the car quickly because it was getting angered by the headlights, but those are more rare, but deer will literally walk up to your back porch and eat your tomato plants and impatiens if you let them.
