What are your must watch spooky movies for Halloween/October?

I've seen a LOT of horror movies. Like. So much many. But my definite go tos for October/Halloween are:

    Trick or Treat
    Tucker and Dale vs Evil
Halloween III: Season of the Witch
    Creep 1 & 2
    Cabin in the Woods
    Evil Dead 1 & 2

And like, thousands of others. What are your recommendations and must watches during this month?

I can't with Cabin in the Woods LMAO that's the most hilarious shit I've ever seen LOL. I want to go through the conjuring series, but I want to watch it with people because I love everyone's reactions to the movies

I just do a whole Harry Potter Marathon because Halloween is featured in the first movie and it's always on... and I can never hate it lol.

Tucker and Dale is great...an under-rated gem.

Candyman is a go-to for me. I watched it for the first time at a grade 10 Halloween party I co-hosted, and just love the urban legends sort of story behind it. Come with me and be immortal...

Suspiria is always a must watch for me especially around Halloween time, great music and cinematography.

Other than that I like all the old films like The Evil Dead, Night of the living dead, etc. If I'm sleepy I'll put on The Addams Family.

I love horror comedies so much I watch Harry Potter fairly regularly when it's on so it's never a must have halloween movie. But I usually will watch it around Christmas

Duuude Candyman scared me so much as a kid. I chanted his name in the bathroom mirror at my grandmas house once when I was younger with my best friend and I swear I saw some sort of flash in the mirror. I was terrified of that bathroom for years afterwards.

I realize now it was just my eyes playing tricks on me, but still....

I love love love Suspiria, it deserves so much love lol

Evil Dead and Night of the Living Dead are two of my all time favorite movies. I've met Bruce Campbell and George Romero, they are so awesome

Omg yeeees Killer Clowns! I love that movie so much. I happened to find a blu ray of it the other day and bought it. I left it on top of the tv stand downstairs and my roommate thought it was some sort of fake movie and I had to tell him no, its a legit real movie xD He wont watch it with me though D:

Ok ridiculous campy movies are my all time favorite. I love anything that's B and cheesy xD

All fantastic choices! Especially The Thing, that's another one that resonates with me from childhood. And out of the slashers, I always thought Freddy was the scariest, despite how cheesy and over the top he is. Because you cant sleep. Sure, I've always had insomnia and gotten little sleep, but I still have to fall asleep some time!

Tucker and Dale vs evil is absolutely hilarious!

I'm not really into "true" horror movies, but if you're into B movies there's one I recommend for being both disgusted and horrified - Father's Day

It's a Troma film (if you're not familiar with B movies, Troma films are famous for being over the top, violent, horrific, sexual or ...well basically anything you wouldn't see in a AAA movie), that said, basically all Troma movies are fun for Halloween!
