    They did shove my head in a bowl of water, but my butt remained dry so I'm not sure

    That does not look 'typical'; do you know what branch of Christianity that is? Based on the priest guy, I'd think perhaps Russian Orthodox? Both the technique and the cracked plastic bucket suggest a dodgy set up.

    This is Catholic I'm pretty sure, saw the full video online the other day. It's as a "mass baptism" they do every year I think.

    I'm assuming they use this style because of it being massive amounts of people wanting baptisms, makes it quicker and easier. Doesn't make religion any less fucked in the head though
    Add salt to taste!

    Sure this is catholic? I was baptized in a catholic church and they didn't do this to me.
    Also, look at the baby's face, the poor thing is scared outta his mind.

    I was Baptized in a Catholic Church and my Mom said all they did was dip a finger in some "Holy" water and brush my head. Other family members were Baptized and they just got a very small pour of water on the forehead.

    The cracked bucket makes me think this is not the most developed Nation though so maybe it is just their chosen method to speed things up.
