Yay or Nay?Dear TNT, *throws neopets confetti* For your birthday a couple of years ago you updated the site by increasing np limits in the Auctions as well as on the Trading Post, bringing these features up to snuff with the way the economy as evolved over the years. One main thing was left out at the time: User shops. Please raise the max price in a user shop from 99,999np to something like 250-500k. Since overall site activity has declined it has become increasingly difficult to find active users selling many of the items we want on the TP, making the items seem rarer than they actually are. A higher shop limit would increase accessibility for a lot more items, whether a seller doesn't log in often, goes on a long hiatus, or is simply too lazy to keep reposting trading lots as they expire. Please remove my username. ~ username removed
Hi! *dances in confetti* This is actually an open issue right now that we've looked into and made some progress on. It's not quite there yet, but increasing the limit is definitely something we're onboard with
What do you think would be a good price limit?

I see no downside. It would be pretty helpful!
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
I could see more undercutting going on because of it. Good for buyers, maybe not so good for sellers.
about time i'm sick of repost my 200K blue and red Hissi MPs lol.
i think this will help stabilise a lot of prices on items better!! i don't see to much of a downside besides items worth 200k-500k now that could decrease in value but thats just how the game is meant to evolve i guess.
It would be the same as people undercutting on TP. Only difference is that people won't have to wait to buy their items.
A shop increase would be dope though.
Rather than putting the same 150k barely UB item up on TP it becomes buyable and makes things less monotonous for sellers and buyers.
A fair limit would be 500k in my opinion. There's plenty of low end items in that range that get bought up frequently or infrequently enough to save everybody some time.

"Something we're on board with"
aka. might be ready in 2 more years, and be released bugged until 6 months later when we finally decide to fix it

I would love it if they would raise the shop limit! To 500K sounds ideal
I just think that the undercutting would be felt more because people don't list everything they have for sale in their TP. For instance say I have a petpage that advertises my prices to avoid TP undercutting. I will post an ETS item on the TP and an ad on my wishlist to check out my petpage for other items I have to sell. Or advertise on the trading boards. Because I am advertising people know I am online and since I have my items listed on a petpage I am not being undercut.
However in shops I have seen items that I see listed say for 80k and are pretty steady at that price for about a month or so. Then one person decides they want to sell an item fast list it for half of the amount and all of a sudden everyone else decided to start listing the items for half the amount as well till the item starts getting listed for less than the item would restock for. Not saying this would happen to items that are currently UB but I can see a 500k item dropping in price to 300k cause of the shop increase.
So a plus for buyers and maybe not such a plus for sellers
I'm all for it. I hate selling those under 250k stamps in the TP. I'm not always around to accept so it is much easier to just get the money of someone is willing to buy in shop right then and there.
Could help the economy, would be a sweet edition.
