    Advice on buying a UC?

I want to buy a UC for my main account but I'm in a guild with a pretty active PCer. I'm concerned that this will cause problems for me. What's the safest course of action I should take?

depends, on what your account looks like

honestly I wouldn't do it at all if the person in your guild is a typical pc "bitch" and just goes out of her way to freeze pets, but I don't know the person, and I don't know your situation

the best way however is I would say secure it on a side account and move it over slowly

When you have a pet out of the blue, there is always reason behind - trading? buying? friend gift? or whatever reason

and each reason has to have a story back up, i guess if you do happen to put the pet in your main, you better set up a good story that can convince people to believe~

You could buy a pc known/safe UC and fake a trade for it

Your safest bet is to buy a legit PC safe UC. Then the pet has a known history and you and your seller can agree on a cover story if anyone gets nosy and your seller will back you up if need be.

You can get an illegit, not PC safe pet too, but with an unknown pet anyone nosy enough will wonder where it came from. Whether or not they buy the "my old friend from ages ago randomly decided to come back and give me their inactive UC" depends on how gullible/suspicious they are.

Best to get a poorly named or decently named UC as well, people are more willing to look past it cause who would buy an UC with numbers or underscores? VWN Ucs are always followed like hawks. I've got a badly named purchased UC on my main account. No one's ever looked twice or questioned how I got it.
