I went to a shelter was looking to get a baby cat and as i picked one the nice lady there in formed me that the other cat in there with her was her sister so i adopted both :3 why not!
First time cat owner and holy shit they're fun, annoying, cute and won't let me sleep ever.
I've had them for a while meow and thought i might share finally :3
This is mongo she is more withdrawn, more of a lone ranger probably secretly a killer ninja with the way she moves around.
This is Rumpel she never leaves me alone, wants to be loved 24/7, never stops purring, throws herself all over my feet literally just collapses on my feet onto her back and expects my love and god damn i can't hold back :3
Lol yeah i'm still unpacking in my new places hence all the shit in the first pic in the back ground lmao.

definitely they love to sleep with me even though they have there own bed hehe
When i'm watching TV they'll sit both sides of me and my small dogs on my lap
some times they're too crazy running around the house and all. Only thing i'm kinder worried is when do i finally let them out of the house? i'm not sure
Super cute. I love calico kitties. You don't need to let them outside if you don't want to. They can be indoor cats.
Since you have never had cats before it is best to basically baby proof the place. They get into a lot more stuff than dogs. Keep doors closed if you don't want them in certain areas. Especially the utility room. If they are jumpers they can get curious and hop up on the water tank and up into the rafters. They will also go for any spaces that are dark and small. So under beds, in closets, under the stairs. Kittens also like to chew on things. Watch for rubber bands, fallen threads from shirts, strands on cat scratch posts, if you decorate for Christmas they often eat tinsel too. All of that stringy stuff makes it hard for them to go #2 and can lead to you assisting (been there done that, baby proof ahead of time).
Most important though is get them litter trained!!!!!!! Keep putting them in the box until they get it that it is their bathroom.
It will be a learning experience but a fun one. They will develop their own characteristics that will make you laugh. Like with foods. My kitty loves raspberries and chicken bones lol. Can't have chicken wings because she will knock the garbage over everytime to get those bones.
