Thoughts on the latest season of American Horror Story?

I have seen the first one so far and really liked it. It is not at all what I expected from all the teasers but I already feel like it could be one of the best seasons yet.

For any fans of the series, which seasons were your favorite and why?

I think I like Freakshow and Asylum the most because the characters were just fascinating and I loved the weird plot.

Asylum was definitely the best season but I loved Coven too even though it didn't go down well with alot of people.

Current season has a very different feel and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, I definitely think its better than hotel though.

tbh, Freak Show does not deserve to be ranked and I haven't seen Hotel or the latest season.

I'm loving this season. It's so weird, but it's really growing on me. I especially like that it seems to be leading towards breaking the in-universe fourth wall and I'm guessing eventually we'll have characters interacting with their dramatic reenactment counterparts and whatnot.
