If I was IP banned, would I get logged out of my account?

So confused at the moment. Main is logged in already so working fine.

Tried logging back into side and keep getting bad password. Password is correct as if I use laptop instead of computer, I can get in fine?

So I either have some weird glitch. Or am IP banned on desktop. Or something.

I've heard of quite a few people having problems logging into different accounts. If it isn't frozen/compromised, changing your IP with a VPN seems to work, though you may need to change it a few times.

I have had that glitch a few times but eventually it just lets me log back in. Super annoying while it's happening though.

It wont let me log into another side either. Though again, that one can log in from laptop Was just checking if it was a glitch on the account itself or not, but it appears to be an issue for my computer...

I know nothing at all about VPNs but will have a look at that now. Thanks

@(you need an account to see links) You can't be IP banned if both your laptop and PC are connected to the same network and one's completely fine .
Probably just a "weird glitch" as you said, unless you're using a proxy/VPN on your laptop?

My IP is different on laptop and desktop. Not sure if its meant to be or not as I dont really know that much about computers. But my dad says wireless connections and ethernet connections are different IPs? If not then I have a proxy on one of them without realizing xD

Different local IPs yes, e.g: your laptop can be 192.168.0.101 and your PC 192.168.0.102, but they should share the same public IP.

Hmm. Thats strange. I may have some proxy connection on my laptop without realizing in that case. Thanks..guess theres a load of fannying about to do on the laptop now then to find out whats up lol

Still need to find out wtf is going on with my laptop though now as public IP is different (and very different, not just last few numbers) on there and here

if you are ip banned your accounts will be frozen and you wont be able to create a new account on that ip (been ip banned before)

@(you need an account to see links) Have you always logged into your main and sides from the same IP?
Your PC's IP won't let you log into any account btw & as far as I know... Open the task manager and check if there's any process containing "vpn" or tor, also check under IE's internet options → Connection.
