.... Looks pretty damn good if you ask me. As a horror enthusiast, I've been looking forward to this. Anyway.. Thoughts?
Here's the trailer for those that haven't seen it.

Blair Witch 2 was pretty average. It'll be interesting to see if it'll bring anything new to the genre; the original started the rebirth of found footage horror. It's my hope that this will find something to make it different from the original and every other hunted-by-shit-in-the-woods horror. I'm skeptical though.
I went to watch it yesterday, to be honest I've never been a big fan on found footage horror films and this one gets extra confusing and slow. Not scary, filled with the usage of cheap jumpscares and loud, loud audio. Not very different than the 1999 film only that they tried bringing it to this era with the usage of drones and compared to the current quality of horror this felt like a disappointment. In October many horror films are coming and I would recommend saving the money to watch another one. I have to confess I was close to walk out of this one out of boredom lol

@(you need an account to see links) Yeah BW2 really SUCKED. Like, ugh. I loved the very first one tho. I have fond memories of this time I snuck it over to my friends house disguised in a Pokemon VHS box. (We were like 8, mind you.) But yeah I am also extremely skeptical. Found footage and woods chasing is so cliche...
@(you need an account to see links) That's... terribly disappointing actually. Damn. What the fuck happened to quality horror movies? I'm so done with Hollyweird. UGH
No idea but I suspect that the trailer hyped it up since it's better than the actual movie. All the action you see on it is all the action you actually get in the 80 minutes of movie, so in the end, it gets pretty slow
The trailer looks great!
I haven't seen the first one so i really need to get onto that could even be illegal to admit that here haha.

I have stopped believing in trailers since my last experience:
When I was browsing the internet a few years ago, I came across a popular horror short: lights out
Now the short freaked me out, it wasn't that scary/gore-ish but all the same I was unnerved. +1 to the creators
Fast forward to now; IT GETS MADE INTO A MOVIE, AWWW YEAH. Trailer makes me think it's gonna be boss af.
Eventually go to see the movie and to me personally; the movie wasn't that scary and focused WAY too much on family drama.
If you combined a spanish soap opera with Ouija = you get this movie.
I loved the first blair witch; i ain't holding my breath until i watch this one.

@(you need an account to see links) yeah trailers do that. Hate when trailers give way to much out like marvel and DC does sometimes O_o

This movie is straight ass. Wasted 10 bucks.

So I just watched this. Don't open spoiler tags if you don't want spoilers- they'll be minor, but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone.
