    Back to neopets and ck

Just wanted to say hey to everyone, and im back around. Ive been living in the bush for the last 3 or 4 months now, i built a good sized cabin from the ground up cut all the wood myself did all the framing myself. I feel god damned accomplished. Overall been a great summer me and my chainsaw mill but I am glad to be back home with airconditionin and internet, and nepets and ck

Ill put some up tomorrow, still on my camera, which my wife has. Just got back home maybe an hour ago, and let me tell you what, laying in a real bed for the first time in over 3 months feels fucking amazing.

That's pretty bad ass. Id love to see some pics as well. What's the plan for the cabin? Just using it as a getaway?

My my what a big saw you have. Need a red plaid jacket though.

Are you hunting/trapping your own food in the woods too? That is so awesome you built your own cabin, I wish I could do such things.

    Oh and welcome back!

Yeah pretty much. Picked up 80 acres from a deceased relative. The house was in shambles, beyond repair so i tore it down, realized i couldnt use a stitch of wood. And set off to make a cabin about a quarter mile in.

Told my wife it was my duty as a man and i wouldnt be back untill it was done lol

She wasnt cool with the idea persay, but better than i thought she would be. Came a few times a month to stay with me and drop me supplies.

Built a small smoke shack out there too impromptu style because on the second day i shot a deer first thing in the morning, then realized i had no where to store the meat.

So yeah more than likely a getaway/poaching... err... hunting cabin

It was an old farm plot maybe 40 years ago, so about 20 acres of it is cleared. But i REALLY dont want to grow my own food. Not that im averse to hard work, just that im averse to hard work every fucking day for the rest of my life is all.

Ive been planting ginseng on my own property about an acre a year for the past 4 year (16.5 acres i already had) which takes 10 - 12 years to mature. Yields 300k - 400k per acre. So i plan to retire before im 40 and def not grow my own food unless something goes crazy awry and i have to

    Welcome back!

Now excuse me while I go away to watch some dramatic soap operas and pet a thousand puppies to get all the manliness of this thread away of my system

Damn, nice man. Post those pics when you can!
But, don't you think you were over compensating with the size of that chainsaw?

    Welcome back to cK dude.

I think the size of the chainsaw is appropriate for the manly cabin-building with bare hands adventure.
