How long have you been playing neopets?

I started playing in third grade, which is absolutely ridiculous to think about. I stopped playing after about a year or so because my parents got mad at me for trying to contact Aaron Carter via a fan site and I got scared of the internet.

Returned the summer before six grade and played with all of the neighbor kids. One of my neighbors had two computers, so we would switch on and off between the computers and tv/xbox. Basically all we did was play turmac roll, but we had a blast.

Kinda stopped playing, but came back in late middle school, still using one of my accounts from six grade and I've been back ever since. I really only chat though.

...so wow, I've been with the site near the start. Probably an average of 13 years total playing the site?

I started playing in December of 2004, when I was seven years old. My grandma got me some Neopets stuff for Christmas and i wound up checking out the website. I grew up on that site--it's a really big part of who I am, honestly.

I miss when the plushies were at McDonalds, those were the days. My brother and I would fight over which ones we got, and my mom had no idea why. She vaguely knew what neopets was, but she never bothered to check it out

I think I started playing when I was in fourth grade, a girl that I used to live next to introduced me to it and I started playing it. I created an account but never got into it, after about 2005 (Hurricane Katrina, when I moved around), I started to get back into it because I remembered her. Neopets really helped me in terms of learning English when I was little, and being exposed to something outside of my small city. It really is a big part of my upbringing regardless of the fact that I spent over 10+ hours on it as a kid and had to get glasses

I started playing in summer 2007 when I was 12. I got sick that year and couldn't attend regular school. In early 2008 I got orthopedic surgery and was bedridden until the summer, so I spent ALL my time on Neo! I have fond memories of being so hopped up on pain meds and playing Neo. lololol.

It feels like it was only yesterday that I accessed Neopets for the first time using my dad's Pentium III machine with like 500MB of RAM and no GPU. xD
and it was the fastest computer I had ever seen at the time! haha

I started in grade 5. When Neo began. I remember everyone was yaking on about this website involving pets and how cool it was so I joined. I was in grade 5 17 years ago now. I'm pretty sure 17 years. Good lord.
