Not just tricky, but Google updates the recaptcha very often from what I hear.

Yes, there was a recent exploit with HTTP parameter pollution whatever the hell that is, but it was reported and closed out. Google gave the guy $500 USD for reporting it. So besides just the internal updates google does, there's folks out there trying to identify and report them to make some dollary doos. He reportedly gave it to charity but w.e money is money.
