I doubt that's going to give you away, a lot of people have white peos.
All my pets are pretty much hard to customize because I like unpopular species. /whine
Kacheeks and Draiks are really easy to customize, though I lean towards Draiks more because they look better with contacts.
I haven't either, mostly - I just do backgrounds and foregrounds.

I took about a year and a half after returning from hiatus to start caring about it. Even now, I tend to make a pet's customization and that's it, I'm done. I might switch out an item for something new/better occasionally, but that only happens a couple times a year.
I use to do it all of the time, especially for holidays. The amount of likeable NC that I own is ridiculous.
Why are white pets so popular when it comes to customization?
