Changing Emails when Securing

How long do you wait to change the email on a previously inactive account? The email associated to the account is still valid - tried recreating it (was a Hotmail). I've had the account for about 2 weeks, and have changed password and PIN already.

I've been using the account a few times a week, just doing small things like building a gallery and customising pets. The account will be a side.

I usually change mine as soon as I get the account, lol. Never had an issue with that

Oh yeah, I definitely get it. I've done it with accounts full of UCs; I don't think it's something too closely watched. But it's better to be safe than sorry.

I mean, a lot of people who come back to Neopets have to use the password reset because they forgot, and as soon as they log back in they change their info right away. It shouldn't raise any red flags, but do what makes you feel the safest.

I also do it right away when I get in, no issues so far either.

Changing email is the first thing I do. If the original email is still valid and the original owner still uses it, and you change a pw for example they will get the email notification. If it is an unreg email then you are fine and you can just make it yourself and change that pw.

Sometimes if it is a good account I go further and change the email again to a completely different one once I know I have the account. But I do that maybe a week later.

I usually change it right away. The one time I tried to wait to seem more legit, I got locked out of the account. So, I change both the password and the email immediately. I've never gotten frozen for that, though.

Hmm weird. The account is long inactive, and I tested changing the email and password on my main and the old email didn't get a notification saying the email or password was changed. I feel like it should be fine.
