In the right hands, yes.
Curious about everybody's opinions. JS claimed to have a lot of new stuff in the editorial recently, I dunno how much of that is wishful thinking and will never come to pass, or how much good it will really do for the site. Do you guys think it'll ever return to its former glory, or at least a semblance of it?

Theres one of these boards every month lol
It's a nostalgia trip. Other then that, I can't see anything happening with it unless like Joe said, it goes to someone who can actually implement the changes players want.
It could, if in the hands of people who'll cater to an older crowd and bring the site up to speed with the modern tech.
But the customer service issues will persist unless they get a bigger/more competent staff which, I'm guessing they can't afford so idk how they're gonna get out of that one.
I feel like if they did it right neopets could be HUGE again. But I think more as a reboot than as the site is now.
I think pokemon go is so successful because most the generation who are playing it have the nostalgia from kids being super into pokemon and stuff, and I think neopets could get a lot of success from the same reasons.
Maybe the site will die and all the trademarks will go away or something and I can make an app for it. xD
Don't see that happening for years though, it'll keep limping on so long as NC turns a profit.
they've said that theres plans for Plots ect since they got neopets... i highly doubt they have at this point....
Partner up with a game publisher and theres hope.
Start out with a barebones mobile app that has a good competitive 1p/2p battledome, the neobords, mobile friendly restocking, and trading/shops then release the revamps of every world one at a time to the new app similar to when the site first launched and give every land a questline or bring back the old plots as an activity to do like the altador plot.
Thats what Id do atleast.

I honestly think it's going to slowly decline and fall off the deep end. But who knows the market is still pretty decent rn. The game may get bigger.
