[POGO] So Excited-- Ghastly's Apparently Are Easier to Catch at Night!

I was on my phone and decided to check POGO and saw this badass looking blob! I managed to chase it down from 300 meters out, it was a block or two down, and I got it!

Then I was walking home and my egg hatched and gave me a squirtle!

This game's so fucking addictive I might go buy a gameboy and play the other pokemon games

EDIT: Not sure if they spawn exclusively at night, but an article or two told me they have a higher chance of spawning at night.

If anyone is wondering where my Neopets selling threads went, know that it's 50% pokemon go and 50% waiting to make a megaboard.

Good find! I found 3 Ghastly's total. 1 was found at around 6pm the other two were around 10-11pm so to me it seems like they spawn later in the night more often. My friends have only found there at night when we go hunting for Pokemon.

Edit: turns out each gym has prestige and by lowering it to 0 allows you to take over the gym! Why you battle the gym twice sometimes. I just found this out reading about it.

By attacking your own teams gym its called 'training' which gains you prestige, at end of the battle when it says -1000 prestige thats how much the gym just lost not you unless you loose to the gym then you will loose personal prestige.

So you want to train are you own gym increase prestige really high which will allow for higher level gyms

Right, you probably could. 6 Pokemon should be able to overpower 1-4 AI gym Pokemon in most scenarios. Gyms are pretty easy to take down but fairly hard to protect

Haha not when all the pokemon are around 1000-1900 i was trying to take over a gym in the city here in Brisbane and its tough!

Pokemon orgy time! thousands of people through out this whole area all playing pokemon almost!! Every gym was constantly attacked and all level 5-7 gyms

Don't go to graveyards you won't find Gastly there or any other Dark/ghost type.

for sure. This dick I went to high school with had the lowest ranked pokemon there, so I just worked until I knocked him off
