Depends if you're talking about just the Pokemon themselves, or the lifestyles depicted canonically, such as 10 year olds being eligible to start their Pokemon Journey.

But if we lived in a world like that, I feel pokemon would be used as weapons geared towards war and not some cuddly wild creatures you befriend.
Governments would have trained Charizards and Dragonites patrolling the skies, Gyarados patrolling the seas and so on and so forth.

If we actually had creatures with that kind of power in our world, they would be terribly misused and mistreated. And that's Church, yo.

If it's coming from a Bulbasaur, I don't think vegans would eat it. I could just see my sister's FB posts about the farming of innocent Bulbasaur, robbing them of their ability to photosynthesise for our own selfishness.

It would be cool but you would need to take some sort of weapon even when you take the dog for a walk. Going in a grassy field? Nope. The beach? Nope.

I love to go fishing, I would need to be worried about catching some monster beast just because my rod is better than good.


And yeah the Dragonites, Charizards, Blastoise and other power Pok�mon would be used as weapons.
