How is it I have one doctor who gives me a pain management schedule that includes medication that actually helps my pain, that doctor goes home, and the new doctor tells me "No more medications, here's a bag of ice"? This is bullshit. I could be in pain at home, in my own bed, able to go to the fucking bathroom without needing to call the nurses station to help me because I'm a "fall risk", and able to sleep without a bunch of people coming in and out every 20 minutes and machines beeping and my roommate snoring like a fucking wookie.

Did you get an EKG done? Just curious. Sounds like a grand mal seizure.

It sucks but they do need to monitor you. You had an unexplained blackout episode with a fall. That could happen again at any point so the last thing they want is for you to fall, smack your head and bleed while being passed out. Hence the monitoring.

As for the difference in medication schedules you can ask for some back. Just let them know it still hurts. That though means you may be in the hospital for a bit longer as they need to figure out why you hurt. But each doctor is different.

I was released yesterday with inconclusive results. I have an autonomic testing on Friday and after that will be a tilt test to check for POTS

Nope, everything came back normal besides having bronchitis and a non-concerning amount of acute liver damage
