dont really like it, would rather something else
Like it and enjoying it so far
Like the title says, what are your thoughts on the current challenge? Are you hating it, tolerating it, do you even want to do it? I've heard lots of mixed reviews so I want to know what you think. Won't hurt my feelings, I just want to know. Sooo answer the poll and/or post here.
Votes aren't public, so be honest.
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
I like it, my preferences are more puzzlesque though.
But not everyone is good with puzzles so art and things like these are OK too.
Can't have everyone happy.
I too side with the more puzzle-esq challenges.

I want to participate, but I don't want all (or most) challenges to be GFX/Creativity related as it's been so far (:

I can understand the challenge in terms of being beneficial to the site, encouraging fresh blood. Like others, however, it just isn't something that plays to anything I'm good at, so is a struggle. Naturally, it is difficult to come up with multiple challenge ideas that are possible to do in this context, because it's not like you can set anything physical or endurance-based like the show does.
It's a good idea but I personally don't think its working out. Like more then half the competition has been GFX.... And thats fine but its really unfair to people who aren't good at GFX. I thought after the first round, we wouldn't see it until later on. The list phase was moreso tedious then anything. It was not fun at all. The only fun part of this whole thing was the scavenger hunt, but the same questions were given to everyone, and yea. It was just kind of disappointing to me, and then with the last challenge of yet more GFX and a video?? Like dont get me wrong, I think the idea of getting more people on clraik is a great idea but it shouldn't determine which survivors stay or go imo.
And just personally to you, I feel though you don't really have the time to run this, and thats why the complexity of the challenges isn't there. There are a handful of people who would have helped you for sure (Example @(you need an account to see links)). I dont know. I feel like this could have been run better with more work into it.

First of all, managing an event of this sort alone is a huge deal so thank you for putting all this time and work. Is easy to criticize when you are not in those shoes. Now that it's clear, I have been enjoying the challenges a lot so far, they have been quite fun and I have loved to meet and make new friends. About the current challenge, the only thing that bothers me is the part of referring new people to clraik since personally I hate spamming around and I don't really have many neofriends that are not here already and I would rather use that time in other things rather than recruiting people.

I agree with a lot of people here that you could definitely have some help running this with everything you have going on.
When I originally signed up I was hella late. I was only so late to sign up because I was incredibly on the fence about how beneficial I would be to this with having little to no attributes that would be positive for this, outside of my knowledge on Neo.
So with this challenge it felt like it was just going about in a way that would cater to people with specific skill sets. In this instance it was the GFX people.
The first challenge was pretty GFX based after everything was done. The scavenger hunt as well had the potential to be pretty fun, but ended up being a bit dry in the sense of what we had to actually do.
And then the most recent challenge just was a bit red flag to me. Making us refer people to stay afloat? Referrals aren't a steady way to determine something. I could put in a hell of a lot more time and effort into recruiting people, but get nowhere near as many people as someone who just had multiple platforms of people to communicate to and put in much less effort.
The most recent challenge was just too...skewed? And it seemed to set a bad tone for how things would be going in the future.
At the end of the day however. It's your event, and if we decide to play it, we have to play it how you want us to.

I was having fun with the challenges. I am not great at graphics nor have I ever done anything with video editing...BUT I was happy to learn and give it a shot. I'm a bit disappointed at the backlash here because Andrew has taken a lot of time out of his schedule to do something for us and this is how we're all going to act?
To me, this event was supposed to help build our community and, at least for me, get to know users that I probably never would have talked to besides a few quotes here and there.

I second Aska with this, the most important part to me when joining this event was to get to know other members more! I'm happy with what you've done so far because it definitely shows you have put a lot of effort and time into this!
However, I do think like others said previously that it should be axed a little less on GFX. There aren't many members who seem to be comfortable with these kind of challenges so I feel like it's a bit unfair to them that it's more focused on it. The T-Shirt design seemed like a cool idea for me, but I guess the referral part is the only thing that bugs me.
