i sent a score for a max score game, made sure the time was long enough. however, it's been more than a week now and the review hasnt been cleared? did i do something wrongly
I wouldn't fret. Give it some more time, then try again.
Overlooked as in.... It'll never get cleared?
By try again you mean send another max score?
I've read that scores that don't pass review after 2-3 days typically won't get a response. I've also seen that you won't get a notification if your score doesn't pass review, and some have seemed to imply that you can fail a score review but not always get iced for SS'ing. Not sure how experienced you are at score sending but double check what you sent. It's also good to try to build the scores you send up slowly to make it look legit, like you're practicing.
I find that anytime I play a game (legit) I'm good at on a new account the score takes almost two days to pass review. It's like they're checking out my account or something. After that I can send 3 scores that need review each day in that same game and they'll get passed much quicker.
Hopefully yours was just overlooked!
If your score doesn't "pass" you don't get notified. Kinda weird system. But, yeah, if is doesn't pass you won't hear back and often they won't freeze, just don't give you the score. Good Luck!
I SSed a score that got reviewed approximately 3 days ago, and I heard back about it today that it had cleared.
I don't think you did anything wrong, per say. TNT sucks. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Even people who have been 'caught' SS-ing and haven't had their scores posted won't necessarily get their account frozen.
i probably failed the review. a score i sent more recently was cleared but i havent heard from tnt about the older reviewed score
i dont get why failing the review doesnt get you iced?
I would assume it's because your stats (time, score, etc.) are believable, so it's not outright cheating, but maybe they were doubtful of how you got it. If you're just sending one super high score and you don't have any other scores for that game it probably looks suspicious.
It could also be due, in part, to the site lag that's been around. Some games get better scores through the lag, so the scores aren't as fair, yet aren't the player's fault.
