Could we have one of these?

What kinds of guides are we talking about?

Just guides for both general, everyday stuff (cooking, exercise, health) and specific, specialised subject matter (philosophy, learning specific ideas, non-neo games, endless possibilities, to be honest) that don't fit into any other currently available section of the forum.

For health and exercise/wellness, there is a forum for that now that you can write guides into. As for the other ones, I'd have to ask joe. Not sure how he wants other games to be incorporated here. But as for philosophy guides of every general life idea, I think that can be arranged.

Yeah, I had just read the guide you wrote there, and wondered if the forum could be broadened a little more to incorporate a slightly wider range of content.

Obviously we don't want too many forums, as that'll lead to dead boards, but I think this idea may actually help consolidate discussions rather than alienate them.

Perhaps some sort of "Other" forum in the General Discussion category would do the trick. I think that solves it.

Unless, of course, that's what you classify as worthy of the Spam forum, but I don't think that would be entirely fair. There must be a line somewhere, however hard it is to define.
