Well it turns out my husband owed $400 taxes from 2007, BUT since they didn't inform us the intrest made it go up to $1200 (isn't that convenient?) SO, they took away our state refund to pay for it, PLUS they took part of our federal refund "just in case". We will be getting $1000 back tho, thank god.

We did have to pay the $1200, but they've been garnishing my husbands wages for a month now, so that covered most of it.
It just bugs me that they didn't tell us about the due taxes from 2007 until now. It would have only been $400, but NOOOOO they gotta wait til the interests over 5 years builds up enough to screw us over. Dx

I actually look forward to tax time, 'cause we get a good refund every year. Especially now that we have a kid, haha!
