I've set my laptop to sleep when I close the lid. Past that, I only restart when I have win updates or just installed something.

I only ever close the lid on my macbook, although even if I was to shut down it takes less than 5 mins to completly boot up.
    Just laziness really.

I shut my laptop down every night. I read that it's good for its health to deep sleep, and my baby is precious to me.

I always shut it down. Otherwise it'll eat a lot of power c:
But I used to just put it into hibernate with my old computer because it would take 5+min to fully turn on.

I shut it down for the night because it's getting way too hot otherwise x)
It's normally just on when I'm actually using it. I mean that shit also cost electricity, I aint spending more than I have to.

When I had my old laptop, I'd just hibernate it cause I was too lazy to save my files before shutting it down, and if I hibernate it, I get to access the same old files the next day. It'll get all laggy and what not if I didn't shut it down for a few consecutive days

But now that I have a new ultrabook, I shut it down every night cause well, I'm babying it I guess.
