Yesterday I finished watching HaruChika
Came into this one 100% blind, and the number of times my impression of it changed during the first ep was amazing. It did the same thing the entire time, but most of the eps were still pretty good. It was a short and fun one

Last night I wanted to watch something while photoshopping and found Kimi Ni Todoke on netflix. I liked it a lot during my teenage years and even read the manga, so I tried to watch it again now that I'm a bit older. With other animes I did the same thing and it went wrong so I was a little scared. .
At the moment it is as I remember it, completely beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't progress much with the graphics lol

I have about four or five episodes left of Chainsaw Man! Its the first anime i've picked up in a long time tbh. I honestly went into this with no expectations other than knowing some content/memes had been going around and that it seemed to be gaining popularity. You know what, I like it. Its ridiculous in all the best ways. Would absolutely watch another season of this is thats ever to come.

After this i think i want to try out Way of The House Husband or Kotaro Lives Alone on Netflix.

So, about 2-3 years ago I started to rewatch Naruto. My brother started to watch it with me and got hooked RIGHT away. It took us about... a year? To finish it all. We only watched a few episodes a week.
But we did have a few nights where we would watch like 10+ when I bought us some snacks and stuff just to pig out lol
Anyways!

One that we're watch now is Bleach. Reason being is that it was one he was interested in and I need to rewatch everything as I dont remember it at ALL lol
He seems super excited about it and cant wait to watch the new one that came out.

Other than that, Im not really watching anything new or exciting.

So I guess my new routine is to watch an anime limited series/miniseries on long flights but run out of time for the last episode and then I have to wait to watch the last one when I get to my destination. Anyway, after really enjoying serial experiments lain I started searching around for if-you-like-this-try-that recommendations and had a short list. I downloaded what I thought was full seasons of three of those shows, but turns out was only the first episode of two of them. The one I got the full season of was Ergo Proxy so I went with that, but the first episode didn't really capture my attention. So I decided to try Erased and after the first one I spent $8 on airplane wifi so I could watch the rest.

It honestly didn't remind me that much of lain, but the time travel to fix grief/trauma reminded me a lot of the second seasons of both Undone and Russian Doll, if only superficially. But I really, really loved this. Also got me pretty emotional in the sense that it evoked the protect-young-children instinct in me, that while I've had for fictional characters before, I don't think ever with animation.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna try Ergo Proxy again, or try another off my list next, but hopefully will do it before my next long flight, lmao.
