what's great is it follows the game's story pretty much, so it's a nice alternative if you don't have the ability to play the game! Still highly recommend the game of course though! xD

I myself am currently rewatching the Soul Society arc from Bleach. Been so many years now. I'm surprised at how well it's held up. Definitely a high point for the series, don't think it ever got much better than that!

Yeah, I've heard it's a pretty good adaptation!
I don't think I'll be able to play the game, but maybe I'll watch a playthrough or something after I'll finish the anime

Just wrapped the existing episodes of Golden Kamuy and I'm about to go devour the manga.

I haven't felt this excited about storytelling in anime since Fullmetal Alchemist - this is honestly in that same league when it comes to narrative and a multitude of characters whose fates weave (or interweave) together in surprising ways that aren't always in their control. There's incredible character development and growth, everyone has a backstory, there's no real good or bad guys??? (I love me a cast of exclusively grey characters heh)

As someone who extensively studied Japanese history in that period, it is insanely cool to see how much care went into using actual!!! history!!! and then using it for the purposes of the story.

I just finished watching the first season of the Way of the Househusband and I loooooved it so much, in particular because my boyfriend (who does not like anime/video games/a lot of the hobby stuff I do) watched it with me loved it as well, the first anime he has ever admitted to actually enjoying I'm the career person out of the two of us and he loves to cook and runs our house so it was comically relatable for us, I kept catching him hiding his face in his hands during it and saying "oh my god it's me"

I'm about to do a re-watch of The World Ends With You anime. I watched the first part of it through Joshua's arc and it............was pretty lacking compared to the game, it's really hard to condense such a long, nuanced story into such a quick anime that I honestly can't see anyone who didn't play the game getting into it since so much had to get cut. But I want to finally get around to playing NEO: TWEWY so the anime adaptation will be a good quick rehash of the first one's story before I start the second game. For anyone who likes JRPGs and has never tried it out, I so highly recommend The World Ends With You: Final Remix on the Switch. My friend tells me NEO is everything I'll want in a sequel so I'm super excited to get into it.

I'm watching Komi Can't Communicate on Netflix with a friend these days... It a slice-of-life, romantic comedy about a girl who can't communicate because of severe social anxiety. But she wants to make friends! Couldn't be me lmfao

It's really heartwarming and it's got some funny bits, and the opening is top-notch! It's still being released, 1 episode every week. Hope it lasts for ages!

Currently on JoJo's Bizarre Adventures part 6 Went on a massive binge and watched them all back to back, happy to say I'm almost up to date now xD I honestly didn't think I'd love it as much as I do, just so many memes it's quite impressive at this point xD
