Castle in the sky! I was mesmerized as a kid ((: I started falling in love with trying to make stories with rich lore and getting into looking at drawings of aviation stuff and thinking about flight and our connection to the earth... all pretty emotional stuff for a kid.
I watched my first three all on the same day and I don't completely remember the order, but it was either Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa, or Kiki's Delivery Service.

I think "Castle in the Sky" was the movie for me! I loved that movie so much and desperately need to rewatch it as an adult. Laputa 4 Life! I haven't watched a Ghibli movie in a long time. I don't know much about the new ones, but the old ones were always fun & sweet!

Spirited away and Howls moving castle were my first ones.
I remember Spirited Away giving me creepy vibes when I first watched it but now I find myself re-watching it occassionally. Such a masterpiece of a film.

Believe it or not, I watched my FIRST Ghibli movie on Friday. It was Howl's Moving Castle.
The sounds and visuals were nice!

Spirited Away was my first movie that turned me onto Ghibli! And my local theater plays all the Ghibli movies. And I have an unlimited movie subscription so I get to see them all on the big screen! It is my new summer hobby since my summer plans were changed!
