My first one was Grave of the Fireflies, in high school. That wasn't so pleasant. The guys around me were all acting tough and disinterested and I was like "yeah, me too, stupid movie" *shifty wet eyes* I was a stupid poser

I watched it again a few years later and I cried. Nothing wrong with that. But damn that ending. Even though you know from the beginning they won't make it.

Mine wasy spirited away. I had a No Face cuddly toy who I loved. It is still one of my favorite Ghibli movies, along with Howls moving castle, When Marnie was there (cried) and grave of the fireflies (sobbed for days and I'm still not OK).

there are so many good ghibli movies out there! even just watching for the animation style is relaxing.

first one was spirited away and the latest one i watched was pom poko. the latter's plot was a little messy, but still fun to watch!

Princess Mononoke, like almost a decade ago! It wowed me with its aesthetic and definitely impacted the types of characters I love to create. And of course I demolished the rest of them after haha.
