Favorite Pokemon!

I dunno, bored now, so I felt like starting a Pokemon thread because I am a gigantic nerd. And I like people's opinions. So, here we go...

Usefulness in Battle: Salamence

Probably the single most effective and powerful (non-legendary) I have ever raised.

Appearance: Milotic

This Pokemon basically captivates the minds of all Trainers. The difficulty that you have to go through to get it more than pays off when Feebas finally evolves, in battle and out.

Intimidation: Mewtwo

Is there any real doubt for this one? Any time you battle someone, and they toss out a Mewtwo, no matter who you have, everybody thinks the same thing: Oh, shit.

Most Annoying: Zubat

Complain about Magikarp or whatever all you want, but nothing is more annoying than seeing a billion of these in a cave that you are lost in, especially with their Supersonic.

Most Badass: Cubone
(you need an account to see links)
Think about it: he wears the skull of his deceased mother, implying that he mutilates her flesh and rips off her skull.

Can't really think of any other categories right now...what about you?

Usefulness in Battle : Many legendaries and starters, I really like Mewtwo, Zekrom and Rayquaza

Appearance : Can't choose between Gengar and Lapras :3

Intimidation : Almost all legendaries

I don't even know about most of the legendaries' use in battle as I try to refrain from them anymore. Usually. And Gengar and Lapras do have a great appearance as well. But yeah, I guess anybody would have that moment no matter what legendary got thrown into battle.

Usefulness in Battle:
This one is a tough one for me! I've had a lot of great pokes. I think one of my favorites is Fearligatr. He has a good attack base, decent speed, and has access to dragon dance AND sword dance. If you use your moves effectively, he can be a great sweeper for your team!

Appearance:
Personally, I would have to say Origin Forme Giratina. I don't know why I love it so much. Maybe it's because it has the perfect mix of scary/powerful/etc. Or maybe I have a fascination with dragons! Idk *shrug*

Intimidation:
Although I agree with you that Mewtwo does strike fear into the hearts of some players (really only the older ones...I'll always remember seeing him at first in Red), I'd have to say I shit my pants every time I see a Garchomp. Every time I've fought one, it has insane attack and speed. With NO FAIL, they always would rip through my team until I had no chance of winning the battle

But I also really love the canine-looking pokemon and, of course, Pikachu.

Very good opinions! Giratina is a beast indeed. And yeah, Mewtwo isn't as intimidating with younger players today. I feel old :/ but shockingly I have almost never had a problem with Garchomps, my Salamence always takes them out with Outrage Dialga is pretty sick with his type combination, and his appearance is a good one too. And yeah, if you don't know that Houndoom is weak defensively, his devil-dog appearance can be frightening. New category as well! Check it out!
