    Windows Xp Home Question

Okay so recently someone borrowed my Dell Latitude D610 laptop with Windows Xp Home Edition on it. The person changed my password so I am having to re-install windows because the shitter won't tell me the password. I didn't ever have to choose what format when doing this installation process before. So what am I supposed to choose

"Format the partition using the NTFS file system"
    or
"Format the partition using the FAT file system"

Please let me know asap. This is aggravating. It was aggravating enough that she took my laptop out of the house without permission. But to change someones password. smh

The whole Windows Xp was completely locked out. Neither of my computer login accounts were popping up. The pass to the admin and the other were changed. Was a black screen with this login prompt looking thing instead of the normal. I looked it up and it said NTFS was best for Windows XP Home Edition. So I'll just try that.

Yeah NTFS normally runs smoother. But there are programs, even free programs that can help reset the password on xp

Try to hack into your account first before messing with it. I assume you still aren't very sure of what you're doing. It is safest to do it that way or have someone who is professional/has experience have a look and do the reformatting for you

Yes, I am not really familiar with Windows XP. I'm used to Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and versions before Windows XP.

It's alright, they stopped support for XP anyway. 'Would be better to move to Windows 7 now, in my opinion. Windows 7 is the best Windows OS so far. (I've had XP, Vista, 7, and 8) Good luck!
