Anyone here gone into preterm labor?
I'm 30 weeks right now and have been having consistent back pain since last night.
My friends & family on fb have been scaring me by suggesting preterm labor.
Right now the only things that I can tell are off is the back pain and a little bit of nausea (but i've been pretty nauseous throughout most of this pregnancy)
@(you need an account to see links) I had it from about 30 weeks on. I'd have to go to the ER and get hooked up with monitors and given surpressers. The third time, they sent me home to take a pill every four hours.. rain/shine, sleeping awake.. four hours. The side effects were pants but I got used to it after a few days. Ended up being bedridden the final 30 days to be safe.
Best to give your doc a call to see if you should go in.. and call if ANYTHING seems odd. I called once because I hadn't felt the baby move in a day.. and she had me go get checked.
Baby went full term so all is well
Good luck and PM me if you want any other info

At this point, I'm nervous to call the doctor because they almost always tell me to come in and my HMO is messed up through badgercare right now. I had to cancel my appointment today because they called and left me a message saying I had the wrong HMO and that they wouldn't see me until I fixed it.
I suggest trying to calm down and sit back and relax.
I never went into labor. I had to be induced at 42 weeks sadly.
If things start getting intense I'd call the doctor. And if you think its a "contraction" start timing them.
But don't stress yourself about them because that could make you go into actual labor I'm pretty sure.
So stay calm momma! Also congrats on the baby
is it spooky season yet?

At 32 weeks I had extreme pain under my ribs and bad back pain, I ended up going to 40+5 and my waters went without any contractions so had to be induced. I think you need to take it easy and don't panic. Seek medical help if it persists.
