    Uh, help? "Danger: Malware Ahead!"

So i went to @(you need an account to see links)'s UC pricing guide and i got the following message:

    Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on clraik.com.
Content from (you need an account to see links), a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.
Malware is malicious software that causes things like identity theft, financial loss, and permanent file deletion.

and i obviously wouldnt advise clicking on the link in there, i havent clicked on it, but i dont know how to get rid of it and it says malware distributor, so yeah, dont click.

    what do.

It's probably nothing. Browsers have a tendency to make mistakes, and the likelihood of something on this site is pretty low considering the community. I've had perfectly legitimate sites come up as flagged despite being clean, as with things I've downloaded.

Yeah I got this too on a user's selling thread. Nothing wrong with the thread I'm sure, but am also wondering how to get rid of it since this has never happened to me here before.

Have you blocked the website in question? That might help with the problem. Otherwise, you can just try reloading the page...? Maybe it's an ad anyway, and will just go away.

    Have you tried with firefox?
There's an addon for firefox that's called "Block site" you can add tankraider.com or whatever domain it is to block it, but I think it's probably an attachment or something...
I think you can also block certain websites with OpenDNS.

EDIT: I just went to Drizzy's thread and nothing happened in firefox
I went with chrome, and, as you say a warning pops up...

The site in question appears to be where Joe is hosting a lot of his images - and it's those images that are raising flags (because of the base site). I'd say it's safe to bypass it as long as it's here on clraik, I doubt Joe is doing anything malicious with jpg files

I've just checked to see if the attachments are what are causing the problem in Chrome and yes, they are. Check any clraik pages containing images from tankraider (in firefox or another browser like I.E) and then check it in chrome.
I think you can safely click on Advanced and then Proceed at your own risk (:

Just looked and it's throwing the message because the images used in the topic are hosted on that site. That site is owned by a friend of mine, I guess he decided to do some shady stuff on there to get flagged by Google...

Don't worry, the images aren't malicious, but I'd recommend staying away from that site.
