Um, so I know people usually reserve "portfolios" for their artwork, but if I tried to do that, I would be subjecting you all to one hideous portfolio of stick figures and bad paint jobs (MS Paint, that is). Since I'm not good at artwork, but I do enjoy dabbling in covers and mixes and recordings, I asked my cat one night*, "Nox, why don't I just make a portfolio of my covers and recordings? If graphic/traditional artists can do it, so can I, right?" He nodded.
*Note: I do not actually talk to my cat. Okay, that's a lie, I do. But he didn't nod back. Or if he did, it was purely coincidental.
So I'm just going to use this to occasionally post recordings or covers that I do, and you can listen to them or you don't have to. Any constructive critique is invited, but please understand that this is more of a hobby and release of mine; I'm not trying to make it big, and I'm working with limited Audacity skills. What I'm tryna say is that your critique, although welcome, may go right over my head if you're coming from a background of more legit/professional mixing and recording techniques. But I will read it and pretend I know what you're saying nonetheless.
@(you need an account to see links) this morning I listened to your cover while getting ready for work and danced around my room. Ily I want more songs to dance to <3
