These are my babies. Both rescues and Australian Cattle Dog mixes. I love them a ridiculous amount.
Lawton, the orange one, knows over 25 commands. A very loyal boy. Ellie, the black and white one, is more rambunctious and stubborn BUT super cuddley, loving and goofy. Always puts a smile on my face. She almost died of parvo but beat it and has been thriving since.

Lawton has the perfect temperament for tricks, but like I said, the little one is a bit too feisty for advanced stuff. I've still taught her commands that make life more manageable (so she knows sit, down, look at me, stay, wait at the door, heel, etc) but things like rollover, play dead, sit pretty, crawl, ect I'll probably wait until she calms down some.
