Boruto >_> wouldn't recommend unless you're a long-time Naruto fan.
CCS: Clear Card Arc - a blast from the past with a cute update! Loved it.
Goblin Slayer...
Attack on titan the 3rd season. I still need to watch the last episode of this cour but wow is it just... boring. There was none of the thrill and awe of the first and second season... quite a disappointment the way it went. The last half of season 3 better be more awesome than all its current seasons combined because I really don't want it to be a letdown. I really, really want to enjoy it. My fingers are tightly crossed
That's actually quite surprising to hear, because a lot of people I've talked to loved the first half of the season. The Uprising arc is my least favorite arc in the manga, mostly because it was very slowly paced and pretty heavy on the politics, but the anime reordered and cut out a lot of stuff to make it faster and streamlined. The way it's presented in the anime is much better, IMO (along with the god-like animation and OST). I've heard some even complain that things go almost too fast.
And don't worry about the latter half of season 3. Whereas the first half of the season covered my least favorite arc in the manga, the second half will cover my most favorite.
There were a few thrilling moments but nothing that actually held my attention. The political plot felt too contrived and everything resolved easily, almost perfectly with a bow on top. These sorts of stories need unexpected and interesting moves from your adversary and instead what we got was overwhelmingly smart outmaneuvering from our good guys that felt like a truckload of deux ex machina. That's pretty much my only big criticism though. The rest was adequate but nothing quite on the level of season 1.
Attack on Titan of course!
