Ok, so this site as a whole has been fairly confusing to me.

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, I for some reason couldn't find an appropriate place.

Anyways, I have a few questions, which will no doubt turn into more questions, so I figured starting a thread would be beneficial to me and I really appreciate any responses I receive.

So, I read about the reputation thing, and I'm still a little fuzzy.
What exactly is reputation power?
And, I'm assuming that it's not to be used like reddit karma, that's more or less the thanks button, yes?

I think I figured out how to give reputation, but does that take reputation from me then?
All I know is I have a reputation power of 7 and I gave 3 to someone. So I thought I read that we all start with 10? So I gave up 3 of my rep power?

And lastly thus far, can you guys see my profile pic?
I can see it when I go to my profile, but not in the threads. EDIT:Figured out the picture issue. Dang I'm seriously not good with forums haha

rep. power does not take away rep. you have, it's just how many rep. you can give per day(?, someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Rep is given when someone helps you out with something or you help someone out with something, ie guides BC votes homework art user and pet look up codes stuff of that nature

What you start with is the (you need an account to see links) (different userbars, like my 'Official' one) here on clraik. Giving reputation does not take any away from yourself (this was a huge concern of mine initially).

You can consult with @(you need an account to see links) to gain access to the adult threads.

You can have both an 'avatar' and 'profile picture.' The profile picture shows up on your profile, whereas the avatar shows up on the threads.
