I know this is an old post but I would like to talk to the person who wrote the program...I'd be interested in comparing notes as the program I wrote to solve is so much slower! Please PM me if anyone has contact info. Thanks!

Best option is to see the authors profile and shoot them a message on here.

Thanks. I did sent the author, ShapeshifterIsMyDrug, a PM. It looks as though they haven't been active since 12-15-2012....or it was a single account used just to post the program. I thought maybe someone knew the person behind the account. I'm a math nerd and it is driving me crazy that I haven't found a way to optimize my own program to work as quickly as this solver does. I was hoping to have a "nerdy" conversation.

So long as you're not taking any shortcuts outside of solving the puzzle with a program, then you can proceed at your own pace. The biggest risk you'll face with hastily cheating at this game is drawing unwanted attention from other players, so I'd strongly recommend that you lay low and proceed as though you're playing the game legitimately. The complexity of the puzzles increases as you progress, and all of the programs designed to solve these puzzles are super out of date, so artificial drag is easy to come by as you play. Always remember to cheat carefully!
