In the middle of 4rd period, there was a tornado warning so the teacher made us go under our tables/desks and all the people that had classes upstairs had to go downstairs and had to sit against the walls. Anyways there was almost a tornado, it was still being formed but it didn't touch the ground. It started raining like crazy where I live and it was windy.

Wow, tornadoes huh.
In NYC, the closest one was in Brooklyn, the Park Slope neighborhood last year.
A freaking tornado touched down and threw several 500 pound barricades filled with water down an avenue.
It was right outside where I worked, thank goodness I didn't have work that day ^^.
Man, I hated tornado drills in school. It was butt crack central having everyone hunched over facing the wall. I don't think we ever had any close counters with tornadoes, but we would get pretty bad thunder storms in the afternoon that would cause the power to go out.
I've never done a tornado drill in my schools ever. o.o

LOL WTH, on 9/11 in my school, all we did was watch a video about it for the whole day.
