It's just a generally ambiguous rarity.

@(you need an account to see links) , I guess the only reason why Faerie PBs are retired is because they used to be sold in the Hidden Tower. I think you can still get those in quite a few other ways, as well.

Stone and Glass, I'm not so sure about.
