I don't really play neopets, just got the things i want for my pets which are really cheap. recently i thought of transforming my pet into a mutant draik, but i only found out (i know.... i know...) that's it's a retired item. does it mean that i can't use it on my pet anymore even if i got a Draik Transmogrification Potion?

Retired rarity just indicates that the item is no longer in active circulation any more (in the case of the Draik Transmogrification Potion, you can no longer get it from the "Sloth" random events/nor from other sources, I believe).

Which I still think draik trans potions are released still via random event which makes no sense.

What Mango said. You can use it and it is still given out via random events. For some reason they put retired on it though.
Your first answer when he was talking about a trans potion. It sounded like you said it restocks when he stated what item he was wondering about. I got confused.

And it's also interesting that when they retire paint brushes, eventually they stop offering that color. Like stone and glass. You guys remember those? I'm curious to see if they discontinue faerie, since the PB is retired. I hope not, because it's popular.
