I also went to the cinema to see this last week. I really enjoyed it. I thought it stayed true to the original but also did a good job telling a new story. I read that there's talk of a Top Gun series about some of the younger pilots from this movie. I'd enjoy that.

The Black Phone

I adore movies like this one. horror with a sense of optimism and hope. Both terrifying and able to make you feel. Highly recommend but this movie has pretty heavy child abuse (nothing sexual) so please watch with caution

Went to the cinema yesterday and saw Jurassic World: Dominion with my eldest son. We both enjoyed it thoroughly. We were in a 'quake sound' cinema, which really immerses you in the movie with all the extreme effects, it was amazing. If you're a fan of the Jurassic Park franchise, go see it.

Heading to the cinema again this morning with the wife to see Top Gun: Maverick. Been looking forward to seeing it since it was announced a few years ago. Hopefully (and from what I've been told by other mates who have seen it), it lives up to the hype!

Just watched the animated movie "Over the Moon" the other day (it's on Netflix). I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Very cute and touching overall, even though it had some small problems too.

rewatched A Simple Favour the other night. Blake Lively & Anna Kendrick have such different energies but work so well together - also highly recommend interviews with the two of them from that whole press tour haha
