Just finished The Old Guard on Netflix. Didn't have high hopes based on the description but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it handled the immortality thing really really well & was very funny at times.

I rewatched Dead Silence the other night, it's not bad, but I don't remember the end being so silly. It's not bad if you're just looking to fill in time.

I watched a french film called Paranormal Investigation, I didn't expect much when I went into it, and that's what I got. It was pretty obvious in the first few minutes the direction they were going, and they didn't really suprise me at all, except with how badly done the ending was but I suspect that was due to budget restraints. Not the worst movie of its type, but not really worth watching.

If a movie length documentary counts then I also watched Holy Hell, this was the best out of the 3 I watched that night. The fact that the person who left the cult was a filmographer, and it was their perspective we were getting as opposed to an outside perspective made it more enjoyable to watch. I will say trigger warning because the cult leader is literal scum and assault is involved so view with caution, it's not super graphic, but it is mentioned. The connection between the cult members was a beautiful thing and it was nice seeing their perspective on the whole journey from that to the reality of how things turned out. I'd recommend it (bearing in mind the content warning of course).

I streamed Tammy and the T-rex the other day. Total fever dream starring Denise Richards and Paul Walker (who has his brain transplanted into the robot t-rex). 10/10 highly recommended if you like bizarro gory schlock.

    The Lost Husband

It's a Netflix film, so I didn't expect anything from it. But was surprised to find I really liked it! I teared up a bit and it felt quite wholesome.

I watched Knives Out a few days ago, it seemed promising but just went on forever.
